Step-by-step workflow
- Enter the loss location. Provide a U.S. street address and the date of loss. Select a lookback period (90 days to 5 years).
- Geocode and model wind. GaleProof resolves the property coordinates, then queries ERA5 reanalysis via Open-Meteo for sustained wind and gust estimates at the site timezone.
- Enrich with observations. Nearby ASOS stations supply measured daily gust peaks. NOAA Local Storm Reports, NCEI storm events, and HRRR guidance are retrieved when available.
- Review and export. The on-screen report includes a storm history table, verification notes, and a provenance panel with UTC retrieval timestamps. Download a PDF for your claim file.
